  2. For ~$570 (the price of this camera), I'd rather go for the T3i for $30 more.

  6. way to big for a point and shoot - not pocket able - I think the little Sony RX100 which comes close in image quality but has much better video features is a winner- this camera just seems to be a miss - for its size I would suggest the NEX6 or 7 or 5r and the Olympus OMD - a bit bigger better a far more versitile and have EVF's - So now this and the Nikon P7700 are a bit of flops I think - I own the old P7100 -

  7. Great review... But the most disconcerting thing about the Canon G1X for me is that it's just so damn ugly! It looks like a Fisher Price toy. I would be embarrassed to take that out of my camera bag for fear of been mocked or even beaten up!

AFAIK the point and shot from sigma had a DSLR size sensor... i.e. g1x not the first of its kind

  9. G1X starts a good trend. Hopefully Canon will up the ante with their next model with an F 2.0 lens.

If you found it boring I'm guessing that's simply because you don't understand photography, because this was a great review providing that you know about the type of product lol.

  17. If u think this guy makes the best review, your more stupid then I thought. The best reviewers are John R and John Q. There both funny and they talk about the stuff more, and this guy is just plain boring.
