I am looking for a new camera at least 8 megapixels that takes good indoor and outdoor photos. Which brand is the best for the value, I want just a point and shoot camera nothing too fancy.

I was looking to spend no more that $ 350 but the cheaper the better. I liked the look of the Sony cameras the best, are they good?

IMO, the best point and shoots are the Leica D-Lux 4, the Sigma DP series (DP1, DP1s, DP2), the Ricoh GXR, the Olympus PEN series, the Canon G10/G11, and the Panasonic GF-1. Also check out the Samsung NX-10.

I want to purchase a digital point and shoot camera with at least 10 megapixels, at least 3x optical zoom, MUST have lithium battery power for under $ 300.00.
