Help me choose a digital point and shoot camera?

Question by jamahonleva@att.net: Help me choose a digital point and shoot camera?
I want to purchase a digital point and shoot camera with at least 10 megapixels, at least 3x optical zoom, MUST have lithium battery power for under $ 300.00. Is there any website where I can answer questions and it will narrow it down to the a few selections rather than having to read through hundreds of reviews, specs etc.?

  1. I would suggest Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS1 10MP with 12x Wide Angle MEGA Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.7 inch LCD.Good picture quality.

  2. One of the best cameras made are Nikons. I would suggest a Nickon Coolpix - they are small, they fit in your pocket, they take great movies, record sound, take 10 megapixel pictures, they are easy to use, and if you buy a couple extra batteries and keep them charged, and then buy some extra flash disks, you are set to take 1000s of photos and movies.

Make sure it takes 10 megapixels or more.

If I was going to get one now - I'd get this one:
