Before you get a camcorder check out the panasinic fz150 or even better gh2.Lots of Indi filmakers are actually replacing there Canon 7d and 5d for them. The Gh2 has much better af than Canon.
I got myself the sony hx9v and i'm loving it! I love how smooth it is and how it remains that sharp even when fully zoomed in! I think it is an awesome camera and I definitely would recommend this camera to anyone wanting to get into photography (like myself)
it's a hard decision for me to choose between HX9v and S100. The pro of HX9V is the mega zoom, the panorama, and other features. The pro of S100 is the great picture quality, the low light senstavitiy and the huge sensor....so hard to choose >"<
thanx for the kind words and i did not have enough knowledge to say anything about Nikon so I left it out of the video

ReplyDeletewell it all depends on what you are doing with your camera... do you need all the "pro features" of the canon s100? Do you need the zoom of the HX9v?
