  1. Can also please compare galaxy camera vs dslr ? many people out there are looking for a this comparison. Point is, im not pro at photography (cam + lens usage) as this galaxy cam fully automated with apps and all, this might help us taking best personal picture & videos with less effort & equipment. if possible few short films. Thanks in advance.

  2. of course DSLR's are much much better, Galaxy camera comes under the list of most crap gadgets that i've ever seen. Except the 21x zoom it has noting to look at... and it is most famous for its battery life...100 pics is all it can take at a stretchwhere as DSLR's can take 600-700 at once....

  3. yes, the point and shoot cameras do have some advantages over DSLR, but not all, few... Im particularly talking about very cheap Point and shoots im talking bout mid range and high range P&S which costs about 15-25k(in rupees, considering ur Indian), for example take the sony HX200V its a amazing camera and it can zoom 30times the normal image size and it can record 1080p videos in 60fps which most of the DSLRs cant do... it is also capable of taking Panoramas and 3D image... now u decide..

I have a question that I want to use my camera to take nice photos of parties, picnics and may be record some clips, so which camera will be easy to use and better for me? A dslr or p&s? I dont want to take any low light photos! And also I dont want high quality video but I want high quality Photos!

  5. the video is not about the diff between DSLR n point n shoot...but rather an advertisement of DSLR cameras...if point n shoot cameras do exist, they must carry a few advantages over DSLRs...we look up to you for an honest review not carried away by you own liking or passion..and cursing point n shoots and smartphone cameras do not help.

  11. i think the content of the video matters....i love watching ur videos better than igyaan because there is no flashy background music promoting ur website at the beginning and all through the course of the video.
A few people may find it boring because theres no music...but hey ranjit, we all have perfect music players running on our computers and mobile phones...
So keep it informative, not entertaining ;)

  16. ISO : It is The Light Enhancement when subject is not having the perfect light situation.
Like in evening : if you see a Deer in forest running fast , u need high shutter speed + Low aperture , but it helps to a Limit, then increase the ISO.

Sunny day : Lower ISO ISO 100 ,200
    Night : Higher ISO : ISO 800, ISO 10000,

NOTE : Increase in ISO , increases grains in image , so don't increase it till necessary !!

TO start With photography try aperture mode then later shift to manual Mode

  17. Shutter speed : the speed with which window (in front of sensor) opens and close . it is also measured in 1/x method. so Lower shutter speed faster it opens and close and higher shutter speed slowly it opens , holds for some time and closes
Day light : lower shutter speed - 1/500th of sec
Night (low light) : high shutter speed: 1/10 sec ,1 sec
Lower shutter speed gives sharp images to hold a particular moment(running car)
Higher shutter speed gives Blur images (Flowing water in river)

  18. Aperture : Opening of the window in front of Image sensor... Greater the aperture bigger is The opening and more light comes in. But It is measured in 1/x method , thus lower the aperture bigger the opening ,more light comes in.
    In day Light : Aperture Low : 1/16, 1/32,....
    In Night (Low light condition) : 1/2, 1/2.2, 1.3.2
