A point and shoot camera with shutter speed control?

Question by Olivia: A point and shoot camera with shutter speed control?
Are there any digital cameras, or point and shoot cameras, that have shutter speed control. The brand doesn't matter but it would be nice if it looked good, obviously. I am looking to spend under $ 250, $ 250 being the absolute highest I can go.
I want to take pictures with LONGER shutter speeds, up to 10 seconds even.

You are looking for a bridge camera. However, your budget is killing me here. I can't find anything that is going to do what you want it to do. Maybe ebay?

  1. The Canon SX 130IS may be what you are looking for. The price has tended to fluctuate around $ 200. It has 12X optical zoom and manual controls. Exposure times up to 15 seconds. It uses AA batteries, and the package only contains a pair of disposable alkaline batteries, so rechargeable NiMH and charger are a separate purchase.

  2. While most P&S with manual controls cost closer to $ 350, at least one makes your budget.
