I wanna buy a point and shoot camera and I am willing to spend $ 200 - $ 250. Please suggest which brand should I go for and the model as well.

I would suggest Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS1 10MP with 12x Wide Angle MEGA Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.7 inch LCD.Great image quality.
